5th Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop (CompMechWorkshop'2010) organized by Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences Research Centre YTI, Tampere University of Technology and the Computational Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab®, with Prof. Alexey Borovkov as its Head) of St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University was held from August 2nd till 6th, 2010. This Workshop is notable by its unique form. University specialists, experts from research and industrial companies and CompMechLab® employees are able to productively communicate at the Symposium, which motto is "СAD / FEA / CAE in Action!". 14 CompMechLab® employees assisted the organization and work of the Symposium.

4th Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop'2009 organized by Research Centre YTI of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and CompMechLab was held from August 9th till 16th, 2009. Five industrial cases provided by three companies - Tehomet , Rocla and Stainton were solved during the Workshop.

Research Centre YTI of the Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences, Tampere University of Technology and CompMechLab of St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University  announce the 4th Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop'2009. The event will take place in Mikkeli, Finland, at August 9-16, 2009.

3^rd Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop'2008 organized by Research Centre YTI of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and CompMechLab was brought off on August 8, 2008.

During the last day of CompMechLab engineers presented the results obtained during the workshop and further research proposals for the problems, posed by industrial companies.

2^nd Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop'2007 organized by Research Centre YTI of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences, CompMechLab and Helsinki School of Economics was brought off on August 10, 2007.

During the last day of the CompMechWorkshop Prof. Alexey Borovkov, Head of CompMechLab presented a short overview of past, present and future of collaboration between CompMechLab and YTI Research Centre.

2^nd Computational Mechanics Workshop'2007 has been started today in Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. CompMechLab team of 20 CAD/CAE experts will solve computational mechanics problems for Finland companies during next 5 days.
