3rd Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop Final Presentations 3rd Mikkeli Computational Mechanics Workshop organized by Research Centre YTI of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and CompMechLab was brought off on August 8, 2008.
During the last day of CompMechLab engineers presented the results obtained during the workshop and further research proposals for the problems, posed by industrial companies.

Global meso-scale FE stress analysis of stitched glassfibre UD-laminates.

3-D FE structural analysis of the door hinge.

Finite element simulation and analysis of the lighting Mast Static Test.

CFD analysis of Special mast airflow.
CompMechLab proposals for the next problems provided by industrial companies and not considered during the workshop were also presented:
- Composite safety lighting pole analyses
- Composite safety traffic signal poles
After the reports representatives of YTI Research Center and CompMechLab worked out the strategy for further research on mentioned above mechanical problems.
