The Results of Computational Mechanics Workshop 2006
Computational Mechanics Workshop 2006 was ended on Friday, 11 August 2006 by presentations of Prof. A. Borovkov "Finite Element Mechanics and Computer-Aided Engineering in Education, Science and Industry" and presentations of CompMechLab team members. The FE computation work results were presented. Five outsourcing contracts with Finnish and world-famous industrial companies (Airbus, General Electric and others) were discussed and coordinated.

The CompMechWorkshop 2006 problems:

  • FE Simulation and Analysis of the Bowling Lane Composite Structure Drop Down Test (SolidWorks & LS-DYNA / ABAQUS)
  • FE Modeling and Analysis of the Rolling Influence on the Saw Blade Vibration (SolidWorks & ANSYS & LS-DYNA)
  • FE Modeling of the Resin Transfer Molding for Composites (ANSYS Customization)
  • Monitor Drop Down Test. Contact-Impact FE Modeling and Analysis (Unigraphics NX & ANSYS & LS-DYNA)
